Fixed-Wing UAV Operations
A five-day practical training course focused on the operation, mission planning, and deployment of fixed-wing unmanned aerial platforms (Fixed-Wing UAV) in tasks requiring extended range, longer flight endurance, and efficient area coverage.
The program prepares participants to work with fixed-wing systems used for observation, mapping, infrastructure inspection, area patrol, and specialized missions.

Who is this course for?
- drone operators who want to expand their skills into fixed-wing platforms
- professionals working in inspection, mapping, and terrain monitoring
- technical teams implementing long-range UAV systems
- organizations using UAVs for operational and observation tasks
Program
Duration: 5 days, 40 hours
The course is conducted in small groups.
Theory
- fixed-wing platform architecture
- fixed-wing flight aerodynamics
- propulsion systems and power supply
- autopilots and control systems
- BVLOS/VLOS route planning
- sensors, cameras, and data collection
- safety procedures and risk analysis
- civil and technical applications

Practice
- platform preparation for flight
- pre-flight checklists
- hand launch / launcher takeoff / landing procedures
- automatic and manual flight modes
- mission planning and field mission execution
- platform recovery after flight
- post-mission data analysis
- solving common operational issues

Result
After completing the course, participants will be able to prepare, plan, and safely execute missions using a fixed-wing platform. They will understand the specifics of long-range systems and be able to apply them in practical field operations.
